The Training School is Based In Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. We are just off J15 - J16 of the M6 and can be reached easily via the A50. The main rail station is 1 mile from our premises. Hotels are available upon request and are within walking distance of the training school.

why is this course useful?

The course is designed for companies whose staff may be required to enter areas that are classified as confined spaces and where there may be a risk of serious injury or death. The aim of this course will be to provide awareness of a safe working environment within a confined space and to make staff aware of procedure, to ensure a safe access and egress from a confined space and to have emergency procedures in place in the event of an emergency arising whilst operators are working in the confined space. This course will include the Confined Space Regulations 1997 and other relevant Legislation.

• Interpretation and recognition of confined spaces

As the course is practically assessed, the instructor will control the environment to ensure the safety of personnel at all times. Upon completion of the course content and practical assessment, there will be a written examination to prove the competency of the students.
