Our training centre is based in Stoke on Trent near to Junction 16 of the M6. It can be accessed from all major routes from a variety of areas. We aim to provide a safe and comfortable working environment that will enable delegates to learn without distraction.

why is this course useful?
This course is designed for companies whose staff may be required to enter areas that are classified as confined spaces and where there may be a risk of serious injury or death. The aim of the course will be to provide awareness of the need for a safe working environment within a confined space, and to make the staff aware of procedures to ensure a safe access and egress by staff from a confined space and to have emergency procedures in place in the event of an emergency arising whilst operators are working in the confined space. This course will also include the necessary references to all the appropriate current regulations.

- Maitenance, equipment checks and inspection, test certificates and records
- Emergency and Rescue equipment
- Practical scenarios
- Controlled access and egress into onsite confined spaces
- Understanding of the SCBA set and the danger signs associated with the sets
- Variations of the types of SCBA
- Other Breathing Apparatus suitable for confined spaces
Upon successful completion of the theoretical and practical section of the course, delegates will then be examined on their interpretation and knowledge. Results will then be assessed and certificates issued to the employers, if successful.
